Prerequisites:
Intro to Woodshop or Intro Woodshop Clearance
Course will give practical experience and safety clearance for:
Jet 6" jointer with helical blades
DeWalt 12" thickness planer with helical blades
Standing belt grinder with wheel
Benchtop belt sander
Learn how to process rough lumber into woodworking ready stock. In this basic hands on class you'll learn how to read wood grain as well as flatten, square, plane, and join wood. Completion of this class grants access to the jointer, planer, and belt sanders.
Materials fee: $15 to be paid directly to the instructor.
