Intro to Woodshop or Intro Woodshop Clearance
Materials fee: $15 to be paid directly to the instructor.
Course will give practical experience and safety clearance for:
Jointer
Planer
Sanders
Learn how to process rough lumber into woodworking-ready stock. In this basic hands-on class, you'll learn how to read wood grain as well as flatten, square, plane, and join wood. Completion of this class grants access to the jointer, planer, and belt sanders.
What to wear & bring
Closed-toe shoes
No loose clothing
Secure long hair
PPE provided - bring your own if you prefer
Earplugs
Eye protection
Dust masks
Gloves - vinyl gloves, nothing thicker for safety reasons
