In this class, students will be introduced to the software and hardware involved with Additive Manufacturing. After taking this class, they will have a path from Computer Aided Design (CAD), through “slicing” a model, and printing that model on our 3D printers. We’ll cover materials selection and preparation, and how to properly calibrate and operate the precise equipment used to fabricate complex objects difficult to produce any other way.

Materials fee: $10 to be paid directly to the instructor.
